Emily brought up in her latest confessional that a big reason for her voting with OG Varia (in her mind) was that she "didn't want to be as involved in the vote", so that she doesn't seem like a threat.

I don't think this rationale is coherent. Jordan was the one playing the double vote, so it would be perceived as his move more than anyone else's.

And, obviously, voting with Jordan and Elyse would've left her in a better position than she's in now, as she's now at the mercy of OG Varia on this tribe.

Let's talk about purple:


Emily, Emily, Emily, siding with Varia was such a TERRIBLE move which is made evident from watching this round's confessionals.

- Waylon stated that he trusts Elyse more than Emily and would want Emily out first. Emily siding with Waylon actually made him think she was sketchy even though it benefitted him. A lot of this also has to with her activity level. Apparently she still isn't messaging people much at all which is a big problem. This probably has a lot to do with why she didn't trust Jordan and Elyse. She never talked to them enough to realize she could trust them and they were being honest with her.
- Also this move sketched out Sam on a diff tribe who correctly assumed that Emily "f'ed up the vote" and caused Sam to tell everyone that Emily had an idol. WOW. As if Emily's move couldn't get any worse.
- It seems like the only person that Emily does have is CJ but I don't think this is enough. CJ also isn't very active. People do trust CJ and Waylon said he "trusts"
her the most. But it seems like that was more bc he thought she was honest and not bc he was closest to her. I think he's closest to Carley but realizes she's a gamer.

Side not it's funny that Waylon, who started off as the most inactive, is now complaining about inactives. Love that he turned that around. He also seems to have calmed down some and isn't over playing as much as he was at the beginning of swap.

This tribal will be very interesting since the people at the bottom both have idols. I think if one gets played than the other will automatically plays hers. If Emily plays hers first than Elyse will play hers. But actually if Elyse plays hers first I can't be sure that Emily will follow bc she's Emily and her moves don't always make sense. Emily keeps saying she would rather go home with an idol than play one incorrectly. Which is silly bc if you stay in the game you can always find another idol...
She seems way to focused on her idol and when to play it instead of focusing on making the move that will further her game and gain her allies.

I'm loving Queen Elyse and her game. I think she will get her self out of this bottom position. Love that she has won over Waylon.

Carley is also in a great position.

I don't think Varia telling Emily to vote Elyse was as terrible as it seems. They were right to not fully trust Emily. Jordan and Elyse shouldn't have trusted Emily as much as they did clearly she's kind of unpredictable and no one had talked to her much. Also where is Emily going to go? to Elyse? Elyse is very annoyed with her.

One thing I found weird was that Carley kept saying she suspected Jordan had an extra vote. Well if you suspected that and knew the plan was to "tie the vote" she probably should have suspected that the extra vote was going to be involved.
