Ok so earlier, and at the time I assumed this was a forum glitch, when you hovered over contestants' names at the top of the page, they had contestant numbers, like contestant 1, 2, 3, etc. But for some reason they weren't in order. Elyse was number 12 I believe. So that could be it.
But I don't remember each row exactly, and I also could be barking up a totally wrong tree. Just normal substitution where E becomes 12 and everyone other letter gets a number based on that doesn't seem to work.

I'm such a fool if I'm on the last stage of the idol hunt and I can't solve the stupid riddle so I can't get it. And maybe someone else found it already which would be why the numbers went away but I'd hope there was one for each tribe.
Maybe first place in the challenges gets an idol clue? But it wasn't announced so idk
Regardless I feel myself running out of mental capacity today. Maybe this is a tomorrow task.

This actually really doesn't make sense for a word because the numbers are all increasing. A word needs vowels and wouldn't look like that

I don't know if I made a mistake sharing this with Elyse, but tbh I wasn't solving this just by myself, so I might as well give someone I trust a shot. I do think my presentation was pretty ineloquent though, I don't think she'll turn on me but I need to do work maintaining that relationship.

This code IS related to the Merge Idol because if you are the first one to post it in your confessional, you will get the Merge Idol. Scout's honor.
The magic code is :AB:
A = The Tagasi number
B = _ _ _ _ _ _ _ = The key attribute that will lead you to A
B is two words, but enter it as one. A silly example: if A was 12345678, and B was "dog food", the code would be
: 1234567dogfood : (without the spaces)
A hint: The "useless" numbers that were given to each tribe were not random.
If you're stuck, try whatever silly ideas come to your mind and another hint may emerge.
