Round Four Confessional Thread

Welcome to your confessional thread! Every round you will be required to upload two confessionals. You can choose between recording two separate videos each being four(+) minutes in length, or record one video four(+) minutes in length plus a written text confessional. Please make sure when uploading your confessionals to YouTube that they are UNLISTED so that way no one is able to know your truest thoughts besides the viewers and production! Remember, confessionals are the best way for production/viewers to understand your game from your perspective. So don't hold anything back, just like the real show! 1. Were you shocked to see Josh/Miles get voted off?
2. Did you get swapped with any familiar faces? If so, how is your relationship with them currently?
3. How do you feel about your new tribe in terms of challenge strength?
4. What excites you about your new tribe? What worries you?
5. How do you plan to maneuver the social dynamics of your new tribe?

Wow! Just like that the whole game changes. Swapping alone is scary short-term, but long-term it's perfect. I was well-connected on Cavaso, and now I feel like I swapped with people like Georgina who I already see real potential to work with, so I should go into a potential swap/merge super well-connected if I do good work here.

I was describing the Cavaso people as my backup allies. Now is my chance to make my real allies.

I do worry for Jordan and Elyse though. They are in a rough spot. Hopefully Jordan is the one who dies and not Elyse if one of them must.

I've been meaning to do this for a few rounds now, but unfortunately health hasn't permitted me to do so. I have some amazing questions for y'all. Feel free to answer via text or answer via video

1. Who have you gelled with the most so far on this tribe? Do you see yourself going far witht his person, or is this just more short term to get through this tribe?
2. If you had to pick one person from your prior tribe that you wish was with you now, who would it be and why? You can include anyone you did swap with if that is the case.
3. Which person on this tribe seems the least trustworthy to you so far? Is this something you feel like you can use to your advantage, or do you need to "trim the fat" so to speak?
4. Do you suspect anyone on your tribe of having an idol or double vote? If so who, and what do you believe they have?
5. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
6. What would you say is your number one hobby? Is this something you are deeply passionate about, or is it more just to fill the time when you have it?

At the start of this round, I would have said Georgina, but honestly, at this point my answer is Sam. I feel like we had such an immediate connection that I didn't even really expect, and she's a person I really could see myself doing well with in this game. I see myself going super far with both of them, even as far as FTC even though that's thinking way far ahead. I've told Sam she's my number one, and at the time I meant it, though Georgina is close. I really hope that the three of us along with Jenny can make something work.

2. If you had to pick one person from your prior tribe that you wish was with you now, who would it be and why? You can include anyone you did swap with if that is the case.

100% Elyse. She was my queen and closest ally and I feel horrible for her that she swapped into such a bad spot. Honestly I wish she'd gone for the extra vote like she was thinking about, because now she and Jordan are in a super tight spot. I'm hoping that they can manage to survive, and if they can't, I will be very sad, especially for Elyse. At the same time, I'm glad to be alone and to only have to worry about what I want to do. I just wish Elyse and Jack swapped places tbh.

3. Which person on this tribe seems the least trustworthy to you so far? Is this something you feel like you can use to your advantage, or do you need to "trim the fat" so to speak?

Probably Kollyn? I don't distrust anyone, like I think all of these people like me to an extent and see me as a potential ally, but with Kollyn, I'm very aware that he likes me more for my position as the other person alone from a big tribe than for me as a person, which for me doesn't work long-term because my position is temporary and when it works less to his advantage, I don't know that I can expect his loyalty. However, for right now I do think he's legit about working with me. The problem is that I think (or at least hope) that everyone is.

4. Do you suspect anyone on your tribe of having an idol or double vote? If so who, and what do you believe they have?

Georgina told me that she had one, so her. Other than that, I don't think Jenny has one, and for the idol I really don't know. I guess someone could have found the idol, obviously the clues are there and I was able to solve them so I have to think someone else could too. But that last stage is very hard, so not sure if anyone has cracked it yet.

5. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

I've always wanted to visit Turkey. It has such a rich culture, and it's the gateway between Europe and the Middle East in a really fascinating way. My great-grandparents also fled Turkey during the Armenian genocide, so I have that personal connection as well.

6. What would you say is your number one hobby? Is this something you are deeply passionate about, or is it more just to fill the time when you have it?

I try to read a lot, though this game has sucked out a lot of my reading lol. I would say I'm passionate about it. I'm especially passionate about literacy, and as a future English teacher, I do feel like being well-read is important. At the same time, I sometimes wonder if I read partially because I want to be seen a particular way or I want to meet people's expectations about who I am. I guess that's something people think about most hobbies, and it's hard to extricate those things from each other. Also in all honesty, my reading has been on the decline since this game started, which is unfortunate. I have a hard time focusing on a book with this game filling my mind.
